The Station

That night at the station we said goodbye.

There was nothing left for you, you couldn't stay.
But I knew that one day we'd meet again.

Years from now we'll have a chance encounter,
We'll meet again, and remember what we had.

Maybe we'll think there was so much more than there actually was,
Or perhaps we'll remember what we had was never enough.

Maybe we'll feel nothing but regret

But now my train is coming,
So until then, among the faces, I'll look for yours

Maybe we'll meet again

Maybe

  1. I sincerely hope not to ever look upon your face again...all it now says without any words is...Lier, cheat, fake, ambivalent and most of all...Coward.

  4. Matt, whether you're speaking for yourself or lost love, the assessment is not unkind or unfair. The relationship didn't work. If you are fortunate to come together again someday - maybe, questions will remain but what matters is that moment in time. Until then, don't worry about searching the faces. Let go. Grow. Live. Love. No regrets.

Peace (Take good care of him, Kat. He needs your friendship and shelter).

  5. Victoria: my comment was towards you. You called Matt a coward, but yet you hid behind such a vague name; anonymous. I know that Matt is not a coward, and therefor, you calling him that isn't fair.

And I will always take care of Matt, he too has given me friendship and shelter.
